Our History
The Ottawa 67's Booster Club was founded by fans during the 1990-1991 hockey season to help support the players.
The main purpose of the club is to help bridge the gap between the players and the fans and to lend our help and
support to the players as needed.
The Booster Club is made up of volunteers on the Executive as well as Members who volunteer their time helping out
at the Booster Club tables during the game and at other Booster Club events throughout the season. All volunteers
buy their own game day tickets and pay for their parking.
While the Booster Club is not affiliated with the Ottawa 67’s we could not do anything we do without their support.
The Booster Club is a fan tradition. We have a membership base which includes adults as well as our Junior Booster
Club for kids under 14.
Member Benefits:
Booster Club Members get discounts on bus trips, banquets, some local restaurants, 67's Souvenir stores, as well as
being entered into our numerous game day prizes which are generously donated by local companies throughout the
region.
The sponsor benefits are many and include a high level of community recognition through the association with the
67's Booster Club and the continued advertising of its sponsors.
Junior Booster Club Members receive a Birthday Card signed by their favorite player as well as the opportunity to
skate with the players (schedule permitting), have pictures taken and get autographs.
The Christmas and Awards Banquets allow the fans to dine with players as a player sits at each table. Fans can take
pictures; get pictures taken with their favorite player, autographs and of course a chance to chat with the players one
on one.
Player Benefits:
Numerous activities are done throughout the season to raise money, which in turn goes back to the players through
various ways; such as the gifts at the Christmas and the Awards Banquets We have also purchased items such as a
glove dryer, work out station, video equipment and TV to mention just a few. During the holidays; such as Easter,
Valentine's Day and Halloween we have given a package containing a movie pass and seasonal treats to each player.
As we head into each season the Ottawa 67's Booster Club looks forward to maintaining our membership base,
allowing the players and fans to get to know each other a little better and supporting the players both on and off the
ice.
